Please spread the word: Big thank you to our colleagues at the Block Island Volunteer Fire and Rescue and the Volunteer Coordinator from DMAT for setting up free transportation to help our Block Island community members get their COVID-19 Vaccines this Saturday 4-24-2021 on the mainland. A bus will be available for all island members who take the 9:30am ferry off the island to take them to the vaccine location in West Kingston. The bus will return all individuals for the 4pm boat back to the island. The vaccinations offered: Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 Age groups 16-and older Should timing allow the bus will stop at Salt Pond Shopping Center 91 Point Judith Rd Narragansett, RI 02882 from approximately 1-2:30 pm to allow individuals the opportunity to get lunch, shop etc. before going back to the ferry.

Muchas gracias a nuestros colegas de Block Island Volunteer Fire and Rescue y al Coordinador de Voluntarios de DMAT por establecer transporte gratuito para ayudar a los miembros de la comunidad de Block Island a obtener sus vacunas COVID-19 este sábado 24 de abril de 2021 en el continente. Un autobús estará disponible para todos los miembros de la isla que tomen el ferry de las 9:30 am desde la isla para llevarlos al sitio de vacunación de West Kingston.
