EDUCATION COORDINATOR
Reports to: CEO
Part-time, with opportunity to expand hours
The Education Coordinator is responsible for managing all clinical education programs and training activities for BIHS. This role serves as the primary liaison with medical institutions, oversees clinical rotations, and ensures high-quality educational experiences for residents, medical students, and clinical partners.
Responsibilities Include:
Stakeholder & Program Management
- Maintain strong, ongoing relationships with established medical institutions and clinical
education partners. - Identify and cultivate new education program prospects to strategically enhance BIHS’s
position as a clinical training site.
Scheduling & Coordination
- Coordinate schedules for residents and medical students to ensure appropriate coverage and
smooth clinic rotation operations. - Oversee weekly clinical rounds and educational sessions with providers, residents, and students.
Training & Event Oversight
- Organize the annual interagency training involving BIHS, BIVFD, and EMS.
- Ensure thorough discussions and formal debriefs are conducted with relevant departments
following major clinical or operational events.
General Support
- Assist with additional organizational projects or initiatives as assigned by the CEO.
